A large number of you made purchases from BEETEES Nelson and Motueka over the month of May and used your new BEETEES CARD. All who did so were automatically entered into our draw for a $1000 BEETEES shopping spree… one in Nelson and one in Motueka.

Without trying to draw too much attention to parking costs in Nelson compared to Richmond, some of you may have read our proposal to the Nelson City Council, (reported in the paper a few weeks back) and subsequently our submission on parking in the CBD.
In a nut shell we propose that FREE PARKING should be brought into Nelson for say, the first 2 hours as is the case in Richmond.
A number of owner operators in the Nelson CBD have had recent meetings with the Mayor and some councilors and hope to have the opportunity to put our case to full council early next week. We believe it is essential to again have a vibrant central Nelson City which we all used to love!!!! I’LL KEEP YOU POSTED.
