A day exploring uniquely Nelson, Beetees style!
1) I have several favourite spots to dine at Nelson, but one I love to visit in Mahana winery, especially for lunch with good friends during the warmer summer months. An amazing menu, great wine and stunning scenery sets the mood to just chill out and relax. I always reach for a my linen pants and jacket by Preen, often the add on will be a colourful top from Esplanade or Memo; comfortable, edgy and cool when the heat is on.
2) I just love getting out on a summer day with our two daxies, Tessa-Mae and Susa, they always put me in a great space and any excuse to take the out on a walk for all of us to get some fresh air, enjoy the sunshine and get some exercise we are all ready to go. Elm track pants are a must for a bit of exercise, these are cotton so breath well and keep you cool. A new favourite sweat shirt for this is occasion by Preen, and is also a lovely light cotton blend. I often add a belt for effect and away we go, ho! ho! ho!
3) Movie night with good mates is a regular event essential for time out. My favourite haunt is at Fords where Kerry and her crew are always friendly and make sure we are fed and watered in double quick time to catch the 6.30 flick. Fabulous choice of tapas, and for me a bourbon and coke... sets the mood brilliantly. Ripped jeans by Vasasalli and an Esplanade top in cotton mixed with a leather parisian belt and if cooler, an Elm chambray jacket. Good friends, good cuisine and a good movie end another busy day on a high.
Jingle bells, jingle bells!!
